The sandy beaches by Wilmington, NC are the perfect places to dream.
Chris grew up on those beaches, looking up at the stars and the moon after dusk, and dreamt of becoming a writer. Chris believes that at its best science fiction lets us explore life’s biggest questions and our deepest vulnerabilities while simultaneously allowing us to escape them. He is constantly searching for the perfect ideas that seamlessly blend interesting science fiction plots with compelling characters that resonate with readers on a personal, emotional level.
Chris currently lives in Northern Virginia, where he is serving as a cybersecurity project manager in the U.S. federal government. While that is not exactly a creative endeavor, he is nonetheless known for his ability to persuade through writing. Prior to this career, he earned a Master of Arts in International Affairs at the George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Chinese from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he took several courses in creative writing and playwriting.
